Audrey Ellis Fox is a narrative and commercial filmmaker known for her splashy and bold storytelling. She crafts inventive and highly evocative worlds with compelling characters, dynamic set design, and surreal camera techniques. Inspired by her extensive background in visual art and theater, Audrey aspires to create work that takes viewers to other realms.


Audrey is currently in development for "NDA", her debut feature with Anna Gerb ("Margin Call", "All is Lost", "A Most Violent Year") attached to produce. Audrey's shorts "Retreat" and "Patricia Drive" played at Oscar-qualifying festivals around the country. Her writing accomplishments include feature "Scam" (Sundance Development Track second round), "Real Talk" (Page International Screenwriting Awards Semi-Finalist), and "Holy Dumpling!" (Sundance YouTube New Voices Lab second round). 


On the commercial front, Audrey has written, directed, and produced for clients such as Epic Records, Sony, Conde Nast, Lululemon, The CW, Reddit, Real Madrid, Bose, Columbia Records, Snap, Reddit, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Republic Records, Skullcandy, Warner Records, Atlantic Records, and many more. She was nominated for an MTV VMA for her work for Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, and Blackbear in 2022.

 

A third-generation Angeleno, Audrey received her Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
